This is your chance to view the worlds smallest and rarest dolphins, the Hector, and the white flippered penguin (also the worlds smallest). Add to this seals, sea birds and the Akaroa salmon farm, plus spectacular cliffs and sea caves formed by volcanic activity nine million years ago and you have the recipe for an unforgettable wildlife experience.

For a more “up close” view of these playful dolphins the Blackcat group also operate the swimming with dolphins experience. Again a two hour trip with everything supplied and a partial refund if you see dolphins but for some reason do not get to swim with them.
